Ryan is getting his running shoes on this Christmas for Nottingham School Of Boxing!
Earlier this month, Lindleys main charity partner (NSOB/Switch Up) launched an urgent appeal ahead of Christmas with the help of Torvill & Dean, Leigh Wood, John Fury, and many more, to raise vital funds for vulnerable families in Nottingham who are struggling with grocery costs, job losses, rising energy prices, etc.
Marketing Director, Ryan decided to don his running shoes and participate in a challenge called the 4X4X48 to help raise funds in which he will run 4 miles, every 4 hours for 48 hours
He said “Switch up is a charity which is close to my heart and I want to do anything I can to help them raise vital funds this Christmas. Running is my passion but I’ve never ran anything like this length in my life so it will be a new and painful experience but I hope to learn and lot and most importantly, raise a lot of money!”
Starting at 10pm on the 22/12/21, he will run 48 miles over a 48 hour period with the final run taking place at 6pm on 24/12/21. Ryan is hoping to raise a sum of £3,000 in total!
