28 runs in 28 days? It sounds painful, right?
Lindleys Autocentres Marketing Director, Ryan O’Donnell decided to take on the challenge of running a minimum of 5km per day, every day in February to raise vital funds for our charity partner Nottingham School of Boxing.
The founder of NSOB Marcellus Baz, said “Nottingham School of Boxing builds champions in and out of the ring by supporting young people across Nottingham in accessing a safe, inclusive training environment where key life skills such as building self-esteem, confidence, resilience, discipline, and respect are learned through the art of boxing.
Our young people are at the heart of everything they do but also provide sessions for adults too. Looking to compete in boxing at an amateur level, or just want to have fun learning a new sport and keep fit in a friendly local gym, Nottingham School of Boxing is where you need to be.”
Ryan took on the task to keep himself fit throughout lockdown and help give back to the community through NSOB who have continually helped people throughout the covid pandemic and long before. With the challenge completed yesterday, the grand total raised so far is almost £2,500 which is absolutely incredible!
