Giving Back To Our Community
At Lindleys Autocentres, supporting our local community is one of our core values and something we’re genuinely passionate about, last week was a great example of that in action.
Our team recently took part in a volunteer day supporting Nottingham Hospitals Charity and their brilliant Christmas Tree Recycling campaign. With a huge thank you to Enterprise for generously donating a van for the day, we spent the day driving around Nottingham collecting Christmas trees and transporting them to the recycling depot 🚐🎄
Not only does the campaign help keep thousands of Christmas trees out of landfill, but it also raises vital funds for Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Last year, the initiative raised an incredible £17,000, and early indications suggest this year’s total will be just as impressive. These funds go on to support patients, hospital staff, and essential services across Nottingham – making a real difference close to home.
Getting involved in initiatives like this is all part of our wider commitment to giving back. We’re proud to continue our support of Switch Up into 2026, helping to provide positive opportunities for young people in our region, as well as supporting a number of local sports teams and grassroots organisations. As a family-run business that’s been part of Nottingham since 1957, we believe it’s important to invest in the community that has supported us for so many years.
We’re incredibly proud of our team for giving up their time to support such a worthwhile cause, and grateful to everyone who played a part, from Enterprise for the use of the van to the residents who donated their trees.
